Nothing we can do will improve the quality of life in any community more than quality schools. There is not a more effective and economical way to improve the economy of a community (or country) than for it to be known for excellent schools.
1998. Dr William Glasser. The Quality School.
Australia currently has five endorsed William Glasser International-Glasser Quality Schools (WGI-GQS). They are:

In a Glasser Quality School, the whole school community reports that:
- applying Choice Theory concepts has led to transformational, systemic change
- the school is a joyful place where people want to be
- there is personal and organisational growth, where everyone can choose to become the best version of themselves in all aspects of their lives
- there are positive and need-fulfilling relationships between staff and students that influence all decisions
- students are more self-managed, which improves the quality of their work and educational outcomes
There are also several schools in Australia using Dr Glasser’s ideas to create a trusting, respecting, collaborative and self-managed environment where all members of the community feel valued and belong.
If you are interested in joining a community of like-minded educators or want more information on taking the journey to becoming another WGI-GQS here in Australia, you are invited to contact Christine Duffield who is the GA GQS Coordinator.
